Arsenal want either Pepe Reina or Igor Akinfeev to be their new number one keeper as Arsene Wenger fails to see any of his current quartet (Manuel Almunia, Lukasz Fabianski, Vito Mannone and Wojciech Szczesny) as up for the task. There are also injury concerns of Robin Van Persie and Cesc Fabregas ahead of some big up and coming matches.
Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish will reportedly be given a two year deal in the coming days and the Anfield boss wants Ashley Young to help provide ammunition for his front line. Andy Carroll is apparently still in need of losing weight before he gets his first team debut so the Merseyside club will continue with a Luis Suarez and Dirk Kuyt front pairing until the Newcastle United man can make his bow.
