Palermo have sacked coach Delio Rossi, the club has said via a statement, leaving the way for Serse Cosmi to take his place on the bench from Tuesday.
An extract from a note published on the club's official website Ilpalermocalcio.it reads: "U.S Citta di Palermo communicates to have relieved coach Delio Rossi from his duties as first team coach. The club would like to thank him for his work."
