Liverpool are reportedly ready to make a move to sign Manchester City keeper Shay Given if Spanish international Pepe Reina is lured away from Anfield. Even though the 28 year old keeper is tied to a long term contract there is concern that if the Merseyside club fails to secure Champions League football for the second season in a row then he may force an exit with Manchester United and Arsenal both reportedly interested.

Shay is great but Pep isn't going anywhere.
I can't believe I'm saying this but Liverpool will compete for the premier league next and others (No Champions League :P)...They have a strong squad.
