Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien remains an asset to the Black Stars despite a self imposed sabbatical from the national team, according to former international Anthony Yeboah.
Speaking to Africa Sports, the former forward advised football authorities to be tactful in handling the issue amidst calls by others including a former FA chairman to expel the 28-year-old from the national team.
