The Football Association has opened discussions with the Metropolitan police and local authorities over the date for next month's FA Cup semi-final between Manchester United and Manchester City. The two semi-finals – Bolton will play Stoke in the other – are due to be played at Wembley on the weekend of 16-17 April. A decision on which match is played when is expected by the end of this week.
