United Will Have To Play Well To Beat 'Powerful' Marseille In Champions League - Sir Alex Ferguson

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson believes that his side must play well against the "powerful" French champions Marseille if they are to progress to the Champions League quarter-finals on Tuesday.

Following a 0-0 draw in the Stade Velodrome in the first leg United are favourites to book a fifth successive last-eight spot although Ferguson insists the Red Devils will have to be on their game if they are obtain the right result.

"It is nice to have a bit of apprehension about big ties," he told reporters. "European games are always that way.

"It won't be any different tomorrow. We are playing a very experienced, powerful Marseille team. We will have to play well.

"I have watched them twice away from home against Monaco and against Rennes and they showed the qualities we will be up against.

Its the 16th in the CL. Any team has to play well tp pass trough. And, United will! I guess this tournament is about United, Barca and Chelsea.

I am pretty sure United is out before it really starts. Barca looks strong, but I Think this is Chelseas year. We have had a hard season, but now we are back- fighting for the two big titles in the Premier League and the Champions League.

LOL! Not a chance in the world in Premier League. If Chelsea didnt win in Moscow, they will never win. Thanks to Terry, the biggest United hero ever !!!

Chelsea are just like Arsenal when it comes to the bigtime, they flop. Never even won a champions league, lol.

It's funny KingsCross uses the word "we" when hes an Arsenal fan, btw since when you started abandon Arsenal and join Chelsea xd anyway Chelsea this season will have the same faith like Arsenal, both will be trophyless
