Michel Platini need hardly have bothered extolling his own virtues in front of the Uefa Congress in Paris on Tuesday. After all, he was re-elected unopposed for a new four-year term as president. No challenger had appeared to upset what many have called the Platini revolution, and his re-'election' was a foregone conclusion.
