John Terry insists Fabio Capello is as hungry as ever to bring success to England and that his relationship with his coach has grown stronger.
Capello has already stated he will quit England after the Euro 2012 finals assuming England, who meet Wales on Saturday in Cardiff, qualify for Poland and Ukraine.
But Terry is adamant that has not affected Capello's determination to be a winner and that he still demands the best from his players as demonstrated in training ground rollickings this week.
Terry said: "I don't think we are in need of a change (of head coach). As a nation, we suffer that a bit even in the Premier League with the big teams.
To be honest, England is suffering beacause they have a lack of quality players.
England lacked a quality playmaker but now thay have Wilshere they have great defenders and attackers midfield was their key issue they had leaders like Gerrard, Lampard, Ferdinand and Terry yet they could not break teams down they just kicked the ball towards forwards midfield was rarely involved now they have Wilshere to pass the ball around so they have one of world's best teams
