Goalkeeper Cech wrote off Chelsea's Premier League title hopes - they are 11 points behind United - and urged them to salvage some pride by finishing runners-up.

"This is the year to learn from and to pick ourselves up and finish the season strongly, because there is still plenty to play for," said Cech following his latest in a long line of Champions League disappointments.

One big Bad period in chelsea's season has made everything impossible for them. Suddenly the players aren't good enough, like they were amazing at the beginnign of the season.

Every team has trophyless seasons, it happens.

But their owner doesn't like this, he's paying money to win trophies. Can't argue with that as a lot of clubs are following the same policy these days.
