Manchester United dodge FA action after coach damages Wembley wall

Manchester United have escaped punishment from the Football Association after one of their coaches damaged a dressing-room wall following their weekend FA Cup semi-final defeat at Wembley.

As Sportmail revealed, Sir Alex Ferguson has been cleared of any blame after it emerged fitness coach Tony Strudwick caused the damage when he kicked out in anger as United's players came off after the 1-0 defeat to Manchester City.

United and City are also expected to escape punishment over the fracas sparked by Mario Balotelli's celebrations at the final whistle as Roberto Mancini's side clinched a famous victory.
