It was always going to be hard for Twente to equal their performances of last season following their first-ever Eredivisie title, especially bearing in mind that head coach Steve McClaren and key players such as Kenneth Perez, Blaise N'Kufo and Ronnie Stam all left the Grolsch Veste in the summer.
... Theo Janssen has been fantastic for Twente again this season. Amazing player and probably the best player in the Eredivisie this season.
