Kompany man targets title next

Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany has vowed to make next season a title-winning campaign as the club celebrated their FA Cup success.

At the end of a tumultuous campaign, City finished third in the table, nine points adrift of champions Manchester United, trailing runners-up Chelsea on goal difference alone.

It was good enough to secure a path straight through to the group stages of the Champions League, which added to the end of their 35-year trophy drought completed an outstanding season for Roberto Mancini and his men.

But Kompany knows more is expected next term and before a parade that started in Manchester city centre and ended with a massive firework display at Eastlands, the Belgium defender spelled out the way forward.

Ah infernostew you know NOTHING about premier league football that comment says it all he is one of the best CB in the prem and probably the world today. He's partly the reason Joe Hart got the golden glove and has been a rock in Citys defence. As for you kingscross you need to keep your rag comments to yourself your only making a fool out of yourself. City came joint 2nd this season and beat Arsenal who were contenders. Not only that they topped it off with an FA cup win which they beat Manchester United in the semis to get.

They are only gonna get better in the summer too and if you think otherwise you know nothing about football. With CL and silly amounts of backing they are going places and the reds are scared.
