Ajax have announced the signing of winger Derk Boerrigter from the recently promoted Dutch first division club Waalwijk on a contract that runs until June 2014, but have not revealed the transfer fee.
Boerrigter will return to familiar ground, as he was previously a member of the Ajax unit from 2005 to 2007. However, the Dutchman failed to cut his teeth in the first team at the Amsterdam giants and after playing for Haarlem on loan, joined Zwolle in 2007.
