West Ham United have confirmed former Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce as their new manager.
Allarydce's six months in the managerial wilderness, after his sacking by Rovers, is now over after lengthy discussions with Hammers co-owners David Gold and David Sullivan and he will be presented as boss on Wednesday.
