Liverpool is for keeps, I never wanted to leave Anfield, claims Reina

Pepe Reina has pledged his future to Liverpool, claiming he never wanted to leave Anfield in the first place.

The Spain goalkeeper had been linked with a move away from Merseyside with Arsenal and Manchester United both interested. But Reina insists he is more than happy at Liverpool and is already looking forward to next season.

He told Radio MARCA in Madrid: ‘I am happy at Liverpool and so are my family. I’ve never wanted to go.It is true that we have improved a lot this year but we have to keep growing.’

I'm way past believing anything players tell to journalists. Especially after hearing what Torres said only a couple of weeks before submitting his transfer request.

I agree plus if you really want to win no titles stay at Liverpool I mean ask poor Stevie Gerrard. One of the best there is yet never had a title medal due to sticking with Liverpool. Sad but they still havn't got the money to challenge and I doubt they ever will now.

City are top 4 and an upcoming team who will actually be fighting for the title next season Liverpool won't be this season upcoming and probably wont be again in Gerrard or Reinas time.
