Has Phil Jones Failed His Manchester United Medical?

Blackburn Rovers defender Phil Jones may have failed his Manchester United medical putting his proposed £16million move to Old Trafford in doubt.

The 19-year-old was at United’s training ground, Carrington, yesterday undergoing tests that were believed to be a routine procedure ahead of the switch.

But the England U21 international, who missed three months of last season with a knee injury, failed the stringent health check according to BBC Radio Lancashire.

Rubbish, he went off to train with the England U-21 squad. That would have not happened if he was injured.

Well, then. Usually we all take these medicals for granted. Usually it means the deal is done and dusted bar the announcement.

This certainly doesn't happen often.


Can't find anyone else reporting this story.
Here's hoping caughtoffside are wrong for the millionth time.
We could use a defender like him.

Well the signing wasn't confiremd either usually it takes few hours after the medical so maybe there is some truth in the rumour

I heard it from somewhere as well, but it wasn't concrete, so this is just some stupid rumors

stuart pearce accidently confirmed his move to the the press and said the deal was done, so this story must be bull.
