Defensive midfielder Rasmus Lindgren has joined Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg from Ajax on a free transfer.
Having helped Ajax win the Eredivisie title last season with 15 appearances, netting one goal, the Swede is now set to play his football outside of Holland for the first time in his career, having performed for Dutch outfit Groningen prior to moving to Amsterdam in 2008.
