Cameroon's FF president admits coach Javier Clemente's future is not assured after poor results

Cameroon manager Javier Clemente is under pressure to retain his job after a frank admission from the African nation's federation president Mohamed Iya.

Hired in the wake of the Indomitable Lions’s debacle at the 2010 Fifa World Cup, Spanish-born Clemente raised some hopes for Cameroon football, but after 10 months of service the Football Federation is beginning to rue another casting error, reminiscent of the blunders of the past decade with the Artur Jorge, Otto Pfister, Arie Haan and Paul Le Guen.

The story is too old to be commented.
