Bahrain player sentenced to two years in jail for anti-government protest participation

Bahrain national team player Mohamed Hubail has been sentenced to two years imprisonment after being convicted of participating in anti-government protests

Hubail, along with his brother A'ala, a 68-time Bahrain international who won the 2004 Asian Cup Golden Boot award, had been in custody since the crackdown on the protests.
