The situation Cesc Fabregas finds himself in at Arsenal is akin to a "kidnapping" and the English club should allow him to return to Barcelona, the mayor of his home town was quoted as saying today.

If fabregas wanted to go to barca he should first not sign new concract. People claiming Wagner decisions "disrespectful" are idiots.
If Wagner don't want to sell Fabregas it's because he knows that he is valuable player to his team and he needs time to find worthy replacement not just because he is a di*k.

Yeh, I hate to say it but after seeing the Ovrebo match in the flesh(and following Uefa's comments that afternoon) it's impossible not to suspect Uefa if having a certain pet club which can do anything which other clubs have and do get done for. I've been watching since as I didn't want my gut feeling to be right but there's just so much pro Barca movement that it's hard to think otherwise.
The media insist we all love Barca and Uefa help enaure an already great side get extra assistance and make a mockery of their own competition as a result. It's getting daft from where i'm sat. That doesnt mean much; I dont make much of those lists you see since they're based on turnover; ManU, Barca and Real arent actually very rich when u take debt into account; City and Chelsea are genuinely rich. This transfer is showing that in action.

Wow, thats ridiculous on both part of Barcelona and Cesc Fabregas. Barcelona pretending to be beggars and being douchebags about this is just very unprofessional. Cesc on the other hand if he knows that Barca isn't gonna put down £35mil for you then, thats just how much they value you. Sure money doesn't mean as much but riding the bench to get those medals isn't the way either. Hes probably just gonna stay one more season. And then leave.
It would be good advice to hi-if he wants to listen as it isn't ALWAYS greener on the other side-Cesc might well, with all Barca's talent, find himself sat on his expensive arse for the bigger games and should Xavi and Iniesta stay free of injury for a great length his chances, and then form, would suffer. Anotjher year at Arsenal is no hardship and woud allow him to see better where Iniesta and Xavi are headed, whether they're going to continue being in and out with injury or whether, as might be the case, tbhey now have a run of luck and avoid bad knocks etc.
Point is, there's more than one outcome to him going to Barca and another year isn't going to kill him as first choice at L'Arse while he sees what's likely to happen.
