AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has fuelled speculation that Fiorentina midfielder Riccardo Montolivo will move to San Siro in the summer by revealing his admiration for the Italy international.
Montolivo has been strongly linked with a move to the Scudetto holders, with Fiorentina’s director of football Pantaleo Corvino admitting that he is likely to leave Tuscany following a breakdown in contract negotiations. The 26-year-old has just one more year left on his current deal, and has refused to sign an extension.
