Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is hopeful a £38million deal to sign Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero can be sealed this week.
City are in advanced talks with the Spanish club about a deal for the Argentina international, who is one of Mancini's main summer transfer targets.
Aguero is looking to leave the Vincente Calderon and failed to return to training over the weekend after an early end to his Copa America campaign.
