The 25 year-old Cahill has been linked throughout the summer with a move away from the Reebok Stadium, with a host of top English clubs being reportedly interested in signing the England international.
Whilst the club is yet to receive a firm offer for Cahill, there is still a feeling that an approach could be imminent as time begins to run out in the transfer window.
