Goal.com's Premier League preview: Arsenal - Liverpool

It may only be the second weekend of the Premier League season, but Arsenal are already suffering something of a player crisis. Johan Djourou and Kieran Gibbs both picked up injuries in the midweek win over Udinese and join Jack Wilshere on the treatment table. The injuries, coupled with the suspension of Gervinho and Alex Song, could see three players start their first games for Arsene Wenger’s side. Young defender Carl Jenkinson is expected to make his full debut at full-back, Emmanuel Frimpong is in line to start for the first time in midfield and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will also be in contention.

ohhhhhh, looking forward to the match tomorrow. I think Liverpool can get all points tomorrow. They showed it last year with kenny, beating all the big clubs, and they will do it again this year. Hopefully they will take more points against teams in bottom and middle of the table this year, that have been a big problem for liverpool the last seasons.

... I really hope Ryo will start from the beginning, so we can see him at work against a good team which also has a few young talented young players.

I feel Liverpool could win this, considering they have players like Suarez up front, and Arsenal has so many injuries and their defensive weakness... but in matches like these it could go either way.

I wonder if Kuyt will play. He didn't play last week, and I'm not sure why...!?

He had a little problem with his knee(matchday training), hoping to see him in the XI.

Kuyt played last week, he came off the bench for Henderson.

I think Kuyt should be starting games over Henderson especially against Arsenal.

... I hadn't seen the coverage sadly :)

Hopefully he will play tomorrow, although I've already replaced him in my Fantasy League with Vd Vaart :P

It's been a while since I've actually seen Liverpool as the favorite in this match. But with all the injuries, sales, loans etc. Arsenal is really short on players. I just hope that Ryo, Chamberlain, and the rest of the new blood can do what Cesc, and Wilshere have done in the past and prove that they can help Arsenal play great football no matter who has left.
