Match Report: Nottingham Forest 1-4 West Ham United

If there is a life after Scott Parker, West Ham United got a good glimpse of it against Nottingham Forest here and liked what they saw. As the midfield player mulled over a potential £5m move to Tottenham Hotspur, his team-mates – perhaps soon to be erstwhile – enjoyed a stroll in the sun to secure their third away win in the Championship this season.

Parker did not travel with the club, but was barely needed. West Ham, who have yet to win at Upton Park this season, had effectively settled the issue by half‑time as they strode into a 3‑0 lead. Although Forest's Robbie Findlay reduced the gap midway through the second period, Winston Reid restored the three-goal advantage.
