Stoke have reportedly made an offer to take Chelsea's Romelu Lukaku on loan until January as Tony Pulis bids to sign two strikers in two days.
Pulis has made no secret of his desire to strengthen the Potters squad ahead of Wednesday's 11pm transfer deadline and is looking for two strikers with Jonathan Walters and Kenwyne Jones currently his only fit options.
It is understood that Tottenham have accepted an offer from Stoke for Peter Crouch, but it remains to be seen whether the England frontman will follow Wilson Palacios to the Britannia Stadium.
