Manchester United have been handed a boost with the news Javier Hernandez is available to face Stoke, while Rio Ferdinand will also hopefully feature.
There were fitness doubts surrounding Hernandez after the Mexico striker was caught by Ashley Cole's late and heavy tackle in United's 3-1 win over Chelsea on Sunday.
But the talented forward resumed training on Thursday and is available to face the Potters as the Red Devils aim to maintain their perfect start to the season.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson said: "At the time it (the Cole tackle) happened, he had no feeling in the leg. There was numbness and we thought there might have been some nerve damage.
"(But) he's available for tomorrow."
