Liverpool and Arsenal battle to sign Chelsea striker

As a Chelsea fan it's hard to imagine just why either club would want to risk money on Kalou. Sure, he isn't as bad as a lot of Chelsea fans would tell you but, also, he's just about the most frustrating [player we've EVER had and he's cost us just as many games as he's managed to save us in.

He's only really had one concerted run of good form since arriving all those years ago and he's run out of excuses for his patchy form and erratic calamities. He desperately needs a new challenge but he's failed to ever prove himself as a EPL player so why would it be any different at L'pool or Arsenal?

In the double winning season under Carlo Kalou played for half a season as,possibly, one of our best players but apart from that three month period he's been so in and out and so divisive an issue among us fans that I think it's hard for him now at Chelsea.

There's no doubt the guy is talented but has he really got a football brain? The issue is always the number of bad decisions he makes and, this season, he seems devoid of any idea and a new start could be great for him but, personally, I think a different league would be best.

we need another striker, coz we can't play caroll and suarez every single match, need more depth.
