If someone who knew nothing about La Liga looked at the table right now to see Levante leading it(!) 9 games in, they'd automatically assume that they are one of the big boys of the league.

The fact that one of the poorest clubs in the league (most likely Granada and maybe Rayo Vallecano are poorer) is in first place, is undefeated with 7 wins in 9 games and is playing some attractive football (not quite Real Madrid but they're not strapping rockets to the ball either) absolutely floors me. They're already more than half-way to the amount of points they need to avoid relegation, just 9 GAMES IN.

Either this means they're gonna go on an equally legendary losing run from this point forward or they're gonna reach 40 points within the first half of the season. My money's on the former, but if they do reach their goal early, what are they gonna do for the rest of the season?
