The relationship between Mancini and Tévez appeared irreparable after the Argentine was accused of refusing to play during Man City's Champions League match against Bayern Munich in September.
The incident prompted Mancini to tell Tévez he was "finished at the club" and would "never" play for them again before the striker was suspended and fined and later charged with five breaches of contract following an internal investigation.
