Manchester United defender Patrice Evra has been left out of the French squad for the forthcoming international friendlies after the death of his brother.
The 30-year-old was expected to be part of the squad but on Thursday coach Laurent Blanc said he had been left out because of 'personal tragedy'.
It is understood Evra's 42-year-old brother died suddenly before the recent Manchester derby and the left back is due to attend the funeral this week.
