BR - Liverpool, like all other top European clubs, remain in the center of attention in the upcoming transfer market, especially after having splashed all the cash in the summer. The Anfield outfit appears to be on the list of big spenders.
Liverpool's owner, John W. Henry, has already made it clear that although Liverpool is very much a work in progress, he would back the manager and his decisions so that the club can challenge for all the major championships in the coming year or two. He has also reiterated the fact that the club needs a major uplift to compete with the league title contenders like the Manchester clubs and Chelsea.
