PSG set to replace Antoine Kombouare with Rafael Benitez

Television channel Al-Jazeera claims that after lengthy discussions between board members at the Parc des Princes over the weekend, they have opted to dispose of the ex-Valenciennes trainer, as they prepare to appoint the 51-year-old.

Benitez has been without a club since his dismissal from Inter in December 2010, despite lifting a Club World Cup title, but enjoyed some success at the helm of Liverpool between 2004 and 2010, winning a Champions League in 2005 and an FA Cup in 2006.
