Inter have sacked Claudio Ranieri six months after appointing him as coach following a run which saw the club win just once in their last 10 Serie A matches.
The 60-year-old had been under intense pressure after a series of negative results left the club languishing in eighth place in the Serie A table, 10 points shy of the European qualification places.
