Nacional quartet to train with Liverpool

Four players from Nacional's academy are ready to enter English football, as they prepare to trial for Premier League club Liverpool.

Rodrigo Amaral, Leandro Otormin, Gaston Pereiro and Daniel Baldi will leave Montevideo on Thursday to take up the opportunity of training with Kenny Dalglish's side.

Love Uruguayan players, they work so hard. The South American flair is something the club needs more of.

I think we should drop the buy English policy and buy more talented youngsters from countries like Uruguay who are simply better. Football has changed physical approach preferred by the English does not work any more flair and technique and team work are now the most important qualities.

As much as i would love liverpool to have some brilliant british talent, they just dont seem to look hard enough. Choosing high profile or high priced british players definitely isnt the best way to go about it, these players just aren't proehlific or consistent enough at a high level.

That being said, trialing out these foreign youngsters might be the best step forward as long as liverpool actually pick some good one's. I still fear Kenny will still have shitty Carroll and Henderson in the starting 11 next season he should also consider getting rid of Dirk Kuyt. liverpool next step is to replenish our forwards apart from Suarez.
