It rings so true in athletics. Lionel Messi is perhaps the most gifted football player in the world. With those gifts come accomplishment, fame and, of course, expectations.
Honestly, i really don't even understand why this kind of article are all over the web, it cannot be his fault, 1 player can never Win or Loose a game.
People that are getting on Messi are the once that were just waiting for 1 Barca loss, so they can jump on Messi & play down his recent accomplishments.
Idk...I do think 1 person can lose or win a match lol(pretty sure it's been done tons of times), it's just something he'll have to deal with, it comes with the territory of being regarded as the best, Ronaldo has this happen to him day in and day out.
I don't think it should apply to any player, unless the whole team does good and their best player sucked and they lose the game because of that.
People on all sides just need ammo to fuel their hate, that's all...and that goes for any team.
