I read this on a website.

"LFC fans are amazing, Hodgson was hounded out after 13 wins and 9 defeats, King Kenny in the league this season has presided over 13 wins and 13 defeats but not a word will be said, he´s a legend isn´t he?"

The difference between the two managers is one was using dinosaur tactics and had a defeatist attitude and the other playing high tempo pass and move football. I know which one I would have.

We are steadily making progress and next season we will be stronger, we just need to add a couple more players to the squad especially a striker.

You've got to be kidding. Kenny is as defensive as any manager out there. At least Roy would get results playing like that.

KazumaKiryu4375d ago

Besides the man city game in the carling cup I cant think of another where we have played defensively. Kennys tactics, to me, always focus on attack play and movement, which is probably why we have so many chances to shoot nearly every game.

Are you going to troll every LFC article and post that crap? I already replied to your same exact comment.

If you think you can compare Hodgson to Dalglish based off stats then you're a joke. Unlike the Chavs the owners and fans are willing to give Kenny plenty of time to get the formula right.

Hodgson is suited for small clubs like Fulham and Brom, he doesn't have the CV to manage a club like Liverpool.

Dalglish's managerial accomplishments:

First Division (3): 1985–86, 1987–88, 1989–90
FA Cup (2): 1985–86, 1988–89
Football League Cup (1): 2011–12
Charity Shield (4): 1986 (Shared) 1988, 1989, 1990
FA Premier League (1): 1994–95
Football League Second Division Play Off Winners (1): 1991–92

Not good enough for Liverpool!? He is going to be manger of England!

Talk about all the history you want. Face it, Liverpool are now a mid table team, nothing more. Everton will finish above them this year and if you look at what Moyes has to work with compared to Kenny... I rest my case. Fulham could even finish above Liverpool and West Brom with a bit of luck. If you think Liverpool are even going to get into the Champions League when your up against the likes of Utd, City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs and even Newcastle you would see that you dont have a hope.

The only difference is that Moyes spent a whole decade with Everton. Look how many seasons it took Fergie to win a title. Utd were midtable when he was manager as well.

What's annoying is the "success-now" mentality. You give a quality manager time to do a good job. Only managers like Mourinho can bring instant success (but then again his budget is pretty hefty)

If you really understand Liverpool this season, you can see that the solutions are fairly easy but it will take Kenny another transfer window. Based off the individuals we're linked with, I'd say it will be a good summer.

Hodgson is for average teams like west brom, fulham, liverpool and england.. hehe
