Was really off the mark when I predicted Costa would struggle in PL.. Maybe it was his poor WC campaign. What I've seen in his first 3 games has change my opinion 180. This guy is in your face, unapologetic, ruthless clinical goal scorer. He is everything you want in a striker. Mourinho yet again does exceptional business. Costa is really proving to be a steal. His 2nd goal in this game really shows his quality. No one can rush this guy. Puts both defender and keeper on their backsides before he puts it in the net. Hands in the air, I was wrong. Costa is a badass. Mourinho is still the special one. Respect to Everton. They have hearts of Lions. On another day this would have been a draw. Great game of football.

Costa laughed in Coleman's face after he conceded an own goal. It was in reaction to Coleman constantly pulling his shirt and jostling with him off the ball earlier which lead to Costa getting a yellow card for reacting.

According to FIFA rules, there has to be 'clear day light' between the players for someone to be offside. In this age of HD television with multiple slow motion replays from different angles, we have become so accustomed to thinking someone's offside when they're centimetres ahead or only marginally in front - i.e. the upper body in front but the feet behind the defender - that we should all just step back for a moment and remember the actual rules of the game. With that in mind, the first two goals were legal.

lol in terms of scoring ability no way is costa near suarez. costa might be bagging in goals but he cannot create something out of nothing which is what suarez did all year round last year. costa is a clinical finisher and has an eye for pass as well but nowhere near suarez.
