Beşiktaş striker Demba Ba scored against Trabzonspor to take his tally for the season up to 16.

The Black Eagles beat Trabzonspor 3-0 at the Torku Konya Arena.

Ba scored the second goal of the game with a cheeky back heel.

The Senegalese international was unable to get himself on the scoresheet again and had to be substituted at half time after picking up an injury.

Ba joined Beşktaş on a £6 million move from Chelsea this summer.

The powerful striker has now scored 16 times in 18 appearances in all competitions this season.

Ba has eight goals in 10 Süper Lig appearances, only Gekas has scored more in the league this season (10).

The 29-year-old became the first Beşiktaş player to score seven UEFA competition goals in one season following his brace against Partizan.

Ba is expected to start against Tottenham in the Europa League Group C Match Day 6 game on Thursday.

The former Chelsea man scored against Spurs the last time Beşiktaş faced them in the Europa League.
