Gonzalo Rodriguez concedes Fiorentina “got the first half wrong” in their 3-0 Coppa Italia defeat to Juventus.
“We got the first half wrong and you can’t afford to even get five minutes wrong against a side like Juventus,” the defender told Rai Sport following the semi-final.
“We must look forward, put it behind us and move on. We played badly and should’ve focused more on our style of football.

The Viola had won the first leg 2-1 in Turin, but once again were more style than substance.
“There are three or four ex-Villarreal players and we have the same approach, as we like to play the ball, but we weren’t determined enough today.
“We have much to improve and hope to find the maturity to play this kind of game our way.
“It hurts, because a Final is important for the club, players and the fans. We are still in the Europa League and in Serie A are close to Champions League qualification.”
