Lazio goalkeeper Federico Marchetti has gone under the knife after fracturing his nose in training.
The shot-stopper was injured during this morning’s training session.
He had surgery at the Paideia clinic to reduce the fracture.
Marchetti will be out of action for at least this weekend’s game with Empoli and has to be at major risk for the clash with Juventus too.
He will have a specially-made protective mask constructed and gradually get back into training.
