Too bad most people only remember the ending where real ended up with no trophy at all, which is the most important thing.

LMAO. Real Madrid used all bench players 2nd half and city still couldn't do shit. Sit down man shitty supporters. I'm a Barcelona fan but cmon guys it was clear as day that City aren't winning anything this season. Quit crying just cause you got shit on in preseason, its gonna be OK.

In these comments: Children who think that a full strength Real just bet a full strength City... 3 starting defenders missing (Mangala, Kompany, Zaba), 1 starting midfielder missing (dinho) and 2 starting striker missing (Aguero, Bony). Get smart

Real Madrid would still beat a full strength Man. City.

Anyway unless proven otherwise over a few games Real Madrid is a superior team to Manchester City.

This is why sterling is shhit and can't play as lone striker. Shitt attitude, shhit passing, shitt shooting and an ok pace

honestly, Sterling touched the ball with his hands and he's too much of a pussy to admit it.

I don't agree with the Real Madrid formation you showed, for most of the game Real Madrid mantained the classical ancelottical line up 4-3-3 at starting with the BBC positioned as always and the midfield with the typical Kroos-Isco-Modric and a 4 defense line. Did you choose the line up from what probably Benitez would had in his mind or in the actual game positioning?

Real madrid trying to win the least important trophy of the season playing with full squad while fucking man city trying to give chances to kids to show them selves...people should not even count that result

denayer and humphreys? who the f.uck are they? But still, bad tactic from pellegrini. Seems he didn't give a f.uck with this pre season. Or perhaps trial and error tactic. Man City have never done 4-3-3 for sure.

United 9 years ago
I think it's dumb for Pellegrini to not take pre season seriously. Pre game is the last chance for him to form the formation and find what is best for the team before entering the official games. It would be dumb for Pellegrini to start testing out the team once premier league starts (which is really soon). With that in mind, I am positive that Pellegrini tried to win this game.

Man City didn't even have strikers.... Pellegrini knows what Pre-Season means. Trying out new formations

Football is not a sport that defense and offense go by its own. They go together. Not to mention City didn't have strikers upfront, defense of 16 and 20 yr old kids is a legitimate reason for the blunt offense

WOW, I'm not a fan of Cristiano, but that move he did where he just missed on the cheeky chip was incredible, and the passing and midfield play has definitely improved, I still believe Real Madrid need a defensive midfielder as there will be games where they will definitely need one.
