Forster will return to Southampton for treatment on the injury, meaning Joe Hart - who moved from Manchester City to Torino on loan in the transfer window - is likely to start the match.

Hart has played just once for City this season, in the 1-0 win over Steaua Bucharest in a Champions League qualifier, after losing his first-team place under new manager Pep Guardiola to Argentina stopper Willy Caballero.
