Olivier Giroud spared Arsene Wenger's blushes yet again as Arsenal battled for a 2-1 victory over hard-working Preston at Deepdale.
The hosts were comfortably the better side in the first half but the Gunners grew into the game and Giroud landed the final hammer blow after Aaron Ramsey's equaliser.
