Laurent Koscielny was back in training with Arsenal today despite worries he could miss Sunday’s North London Derby with Tottenham due to a knee injury.

The France international was reported to have picked up the knock in the Gunners’ midweek win over Leicester City, but Arsene Wenger would love to have him back for tomorrow’s big game.

Spurs have injury worries of their own in the shape of Danny Rose and Mousa Dembele, but are the far more in-form team going into tomorrow’s encounter at White Hart Lane.

Arsenal will need all the help they can get against a potent attack of Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen, and won’t want to rely on just Gabriel and Rob Holding at the back.

Wenger has just one win in his last eight trips across north London, but will take on Spurs at the Lane for the last time this weekend as they prepare to move to a new stadium and will play their home matches at Wembley next season.

Normally the dominant team in this part of the capital, Arsenal go into tomorrow’s match a staggering 14 points behind Tottenham in the Premier League table, and need a win to have any hope of making the top four.

Spurs, meanwhile, will have bigger fish to fry as they eye a ninth league win in a row to keep the pressure on leaders Chelsea, whom they are just four points behind at the moment.
