David Luiz watched Saturday’s Champions League final between Juventus and Real Madrid alongside one of Chelsea’s most-wanted transfer targets heading into the summer window.

Real Madrid tore through Juventus in a storming second half, eventually winning 4-1 thanks to a brace from Cristiano Ronaldo, and Luiz was forced to stream the match on a laptop in Dubai airport.

But he was not alone, with West Ham playmaker – and Chelsea target – Manuel Lanzini alongside him as they enjoyed a thrilling European final on Saturday night.

The pair appear to have decided to travel to Australia together, where Luiz’s Brazil will take on Lanzini’s Argentina in an international friendly at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

And Antonio Conte will be hoping Luiz can extol the virtues of playing at Stamford Bridge to Lanzini, with the 24-year-old a rumoured target of the Blues.

Michael Emenalo is thought to be a huge fan of the Argentine and sees him as the ideal replacement for Cesc Fabregas should the Spaniard leave the club this summer, with AC Milan and Bayern Munich reportedly keen.

Lanzini was hugely impressive for the Hammers once again last season, scoring eight goals and providing two assists, and netted the goal that beat Tottenham and handed Chelsea the title last month.

He has also been linked with Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham and is valued at around £30 million, but West Ham will be desperate to retain his services after losing Dimitri Payet in January.
