Tottenham’s Kyle Walker is offering ‘no indication at all’ on where his future lies amid strong speculation linking him with Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola has reportedly made the 27-year-old one of his priority targets ahead of the upcoming window, willing to spend £40million to bring Walker to the Etihad.

Chelsea and Manchester United have also expressed interest in the England defender – although Walker is said to favour a move to City.

Asked whether the transfer rumours were proving a distraction while on international duty, Walker told Sky Sports: ‘Not at all.

‘I mean, you know coming away from club football kind of gives you a little bit of head space.

‘I am an England player now and I am fully focused on a massive game on Saturday [against Scotland]. We need to go and get the three points.’

When asked if he could give any indication on his future, the right-back added: ‘No, no indication at all.’

Guardiola is said to be willing to offer Walker, who signed for Spurs in 2009, a salary worth around £100,000-a-week as he looks to bolster his defensive options this summer.

Asked about his player’s future earlier in the season, Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino said: ‘I cannot confirm [whether Walker is unsettled] because it is rumours.

‘If I speak about all the rumours, we will have to extend the press conference for two hours.’
