Northern Ireland prepare for Baku heat at Turkish training camp

Northern Ireland's Josh Magennis agrees with Michael O'Neill's decision to bring the squad to Turkey to prepare for likely hot conditions in the World Cup qualifier in Azerbaijan.

Conditions are expected to be in the region of 30 degrees centigrade in Baku on Saturday evening as Northern Ireland play the vital qualifier.

"We will be playing in a country that not only in terms of heat but also humidity will take us to places we're not used to so it was important we came out here and got used to the weather," said Charlton's Magennis.
