Cristiano Ronaldo will have two offers to take to his meeting with Real Madrid after the Confederations Cup, according to reports.

Marca claims that the 32-year-old will sit down for talks with Madrid president Florentino Perez after the tournament ends on July 2, by which time the forward will be in possession of a ‘money no object’ offer from Paris Saint-Germain.

The report also claims that Ronaldo will have another bid for his signature from the Chinese Super League, although he has no plans to make the move to the Far East this summer as he wants to remain in Europe.

Ronaldo is reportedly still willing to follow through with his threat of leaving Madrid and it is now up to Perez to convince the club’s all-time leading goalscorer to reconsider.

Perez’s main aim is to keep Ronaldo at the club but should the player push for an exit and present an offer in the region of €200 million (£176m), Madrid could find it hard to resist.

On Wednesday, AS reported that Ronaldo is already having second thoughts about leaving the Santiago Bernabey after his positive response to Perez’s decision to publicly defend him after the tax fraud allegations.

‘I will always defend Cristiano as a person and as a footballer,’ Perez told Onda Cero on Monday.

‘He is a very good person. He is hurt and has every right to be, because he has not tried to hurt anybody.’

‘Cristiano definitely didn’t want us to pay his fine – he isn’t like that.

Ronaldo has not yet received an offer from Manchester United, but the player’s advisors have indicated that his former club would be the only team he’d be willing to join in the Premier League.
