Juan Cuadrado has expressed his desire to stay at Juventus despite recent rumours that Arsenal are after him and that he could be sold for around £26million.

The Colombia international only recently signed a permanent deal with Juve, having spent the last two seasons on loan with the club after struggling to make an impact at Chelsea.

Still, this has not put Arsenal off pursuing him, with speculation that they saw a bid rejected for him, but could have more luck if they came back with £26m.

Cuadrado himself, however, insists he is committed to Juventus and wants to see out the contract he has with them until 2020.

Quizzed about his future, the 29-year-old said: ‘I renewed with Juve until 2020 and, with the help of God, I will stay at Juventus until then.’

Arsenal may be in need of new wide-players this summer due to doubts over big names such as Alexis Sanchez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Cuadrado doesn’t appear ready to make the move back to London, but Juventus chief Beppe Marotta only recently mentioned him as one of the players his club could consider cashing in on this summer as sales look likely.

‘Some (players) can go,’ he admitted last week. ‘You have to see the situations of (Mario) Lemina, (Stefano) Sturaro, Cuadrado …’

Arsenal have had a quiet summer so far, bringing in only Sead Kolasinac on a free from Schalke, whilst continuing to be linked with Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette.
